4 Principles for Living a More Fulfilling Life

Have you ever heard about the Fantastic Four?
Those wonder guys who save the world from evil…
Wouldn’t it be great to have them by your side while trying to help those around you?

Well, the bad news is that I can’t bring the here for you. But I have gathered four principles which, maybe, can be helpful to keep in mind; they could be –almost- as helpful as the other Four:

  1. The Principle of Natural Morality: “If you can’t do or give something to yourself, you won’t be able to do or to give it to others”. Do you set aside some time for yourself? If don’t, you will not have time for others…
  2. The Principle of Individuality Recon: “Do not do anything for others just because you’d like to be done to you, for they could like different things”. When giving to others, focus on them, not on you.
  3. The Principle of Dependency Avoidance: “When someone can do anything by themselves, do not do it for them” Help is not about creating dependencies, but letting others shine.
  4. The Principle of Autonomy: “Help yourself and everybody will help you”. How can you help yourself?

Our goals and others’ are sometimes closely linked. The solution is not to forget what we want for ourselves or to forget what others want for themselves. The key is to find the right balance between “I” and “you”.

Next time you think of postponing that exercise routine, that visit to the beauty salon, or just that 15-minute walk, recall the (Fantastic) Four Principles, and think again; this could be the first step to a Better You. And, then, go and help others.

We at BeYou care about your goals and do all our best to help you achieve them.
– How can we help you?
