A green smoothie in the morning doesn’t only give you a great amount vegetables and fruits. It also gives you vibrant and long-lasting energy for the rest of the day. Try this green beauty that The BeYou Health Coach Teresia shares.
Ingredients:
1 apple
1/4 cucumber
1/4 cup chopped mint
1/2 avocado (preferably frozen)
1 large handful of spinach
1 cup water
Directions:
- Remove the avocado from the freezer and let thaw.
- Chop the apple, cucumber and mint
- Place all ingredients in a blender.
- If you didn’t use frozen avocado add a few ice cubes.
- Top your your smoothie with whatever you wish, for example strawberries, almonds, chia seeds and pomegranate seeds.
