Fit Girl’s Kitchen continue sharing another one of her favorite recipes. Granola is not only a satisfying, easy to make and filling, it’s also a nutritious contribution to your breakfast. Hence, it also suits those of you who wants to lose weight. One serving is around half a cup. Enjoy and happy weekend!
2 cups thick rolled oats
1 cup raw almonds
1 cup raw walnuts
1/4 cup amaranth seeds
1 cup dried cranberries (any dried fruit)
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1 cup shaved coconut
2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
Pink himalayan sea salt
- Preheat oven to 325.
- Mix oats and other granola ingredients in large bowl.
- Melt coconut oil and add to mixture.
- Add honey and sea salt to taste.
- Spread on rimmed baking pan and bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
- Let cool.
